This is Waterflame’s “The Race Around The World” Performed by an 8-bit microcontroller.
I’m going to be doing a lot of the castle crashers music from this point on.
This one has been in the works since right when the song came out. I’ve been working on it since then.
I also set up my launchpad to mirror Synthesia’s notes.
I enjoyed doing this one, the main riff is awesome!
Including the original clips from “The time machine” where the vocals come from.
#1 “This is a time machine” @ 1:28 is from 11:00 in the movie,
#2 “I wonder, now here is the most important question, to which I hope to find an answer. Can man control his destiny? Can he change the shape of things to come?” @ 1:58 is at 11:26 in the movie.
I can link the original video samples below if needed.
I couldn’t use my fun little led light show one because there were too many notes for it to handle, so I used the mega, and made my own show… Also, where it seems like some notes are “missing”, they just were cut off for some reason, don’t worry though, they’ll be there in the piano version.
This one seemed like it would be cool to do on an arduino, so I did!
Yeah… I redid it a third time, hopefully for the last time.
Tomorrow is my birthday! I’ve been working on this cover on and off between my work on Clutterfunk for about two weeks now.
Sorry about this one being a little late, I forgot that it needed a download link…
A little project I’m working on that once I iron out a few things(Cellos can’t play that high, & violas are too quiet!) I may play with my school’s orchestra.
This is one of my all time favorite songs from waterflame, I don’t know why it took me this long to get around to transcribing it…
