Over the last 2 weeks, I redesigned sagexc.com from this:
To the responsive design it now presents:
I’ve created a new wiki for anytime I need a wiki for something, it is located at http://www.joeybabcock.me/wiki/ and currently only has information about mods on the Impact Hacked Client for Minecraft.
Yahoo recently made an announcement that all YDN customers need to switch to the more secure OAUTH version of their query API. I was unaware of this, and as a result from apparently the 15th of March, my site has been unavailable and I was just seeing a cached copy. I’ll get the weather script remade for the new OAUTH protocol, however it now requires either finding a new query source, or making an account with yahoo to set up…
The clouds above change speed/color/count according to the actual weather for Carlsbad at the moment. I’ve changed a lot since the earlier versions, mainly there is now something for basically every type of weather. The clouds change type(color) depending on the type of weather, and speed depending on the wind speed.

I’ve been programming since 8 or so, but I really began when I received my first Arduino Mega, at age 10. Since then, I’ve expanded my knowledge to learn a number of other languages for many different applications. These include the web design languages listed above, as well as a few others such as Java and C/C++(Arduino).
I attended Sage Creek High School for 4 years, from 2014-2018.

About This Site:
This site began as a place for me to experiment with my new found enjoyment for web design in late 2010. I later put it online as joeybabcock.me in September of 2010, this site has endured countless crashes/hacks/downtime due in no small part to my small but ever-increasing knowledge of code. As of right now, it is on its 6th complete redesign and the 3rd server. This site is currently hosted by GoDaddy and uses WordPress for the blog, and a custom theme that I designed for the homepage.
Find me elsewhere:
You can usually find me under the username “Joeybab3”, but occasionally, especially if I registered a while ago, I’ll be under “Joeysfishtank”.
I am on the following sites:

You can now comment without having to register(though you still should 🙂 and tell me about bugs and the related.
The main change is implementing a WORKING login system. Other major changes include:
1. Breadfish Fixed. It stopped working for a bit there.
3. Weather Script, added thunder + clouds.
I’ve since added forums to my site. They contain different categories for different things I’m working on at the moment.
I almost forgot to renew my website. In addition the server my website runs of of (fedcorx.com) just added https and it messed everything up, I had to get a new ip address which messed up a number of other things…
The first changelog for sitewide updates.
The main change I implemented is a working login system. Some of you may have tried to register and realized it didn’t work. Now, it is fully functional, and has lots of features:
1. Based off of: https://github.com/subins2000/logSys
2. Stores account based money & xp from flappy loach.
3. Only asks for zip-code for weather-related things(clouds and such).
4. Friends system (in progress).
New changes to weather system:
3. Fixed SimpleXML errors
New changes to Flappy Loach:
1. Too many to post here, go to the official update log.

This is a simple script I made mostly based off of http://gearside.com/make-it-rain-let-it-snow-query-weather-with-php/, to get it to work, go to This Url, and choose the airport (more…)
As my first post, I’ll explain what you’re here for… For the most part, I’ll just be posting stuff im working on, if you are looking for arduino-related, you can find that HERE. I enjoy programming my arduino, and working on my fish tank. So as you can guess I combine those hobbies to create things like this.
(Keep in mind I filmed this 2 years ago…)
**Going this far back will result in pages like this that link to stuff that doesn’t work anymore…
